Chocosphere does carry a lot of wonderful chocolate. However, some of the products we carry are not ideal for the course, or there is a possibility that we will be out of stock due to logistics or other issues that manufacturers are experiencing. If you can find products locally that will satisfy your course requirements, that may be the best. Please note that it is acceptable to use a product for more than one flight.

Chocosphere will take reasonable care towards successful and safe delivery of your order, but when it comes to export shipments many factors are outside Chocosphere's control. Therefore, if this order is being shipped outside of the U.S. and Canada, it must be placed on-line and the following statement must be in the “Comments” section of the order:
Important notes about International Shipping
Because it is not possible for us to pre-determine export shipping charges at the time an order is placed, shipping charges will not be shown at order entry time. Shipping charges will be in addition to the charge for products, even if a zero dollar value is shown as the shipping charge on the order entry screen. We will contact you with the estimated shipping charge and will not ship unless you approve it. Should you not approve the shipping charge, we will cancel the order and refund to the card used when the order was placed.
When we receive an export order, we use resources provided by the U.S. Postal Service to check requirements for the destination country. As of this writing, export shipments to Canada and Australia have worked well aside from occasional delivery delays due to Customs processing. However, we are finding that many other countries are getting more restrictive about allowing chocolate shipments in, and as a result there are many places that Chocosphere is not allowed to ship chocolate.
If we find that your order meets with restrictions as noted above that limit our ability to ship, we will let you know and if practical we may provide other options for delivery. These may include shipping by Refrigerated Freight Forwarder (which you would need to arrange though we may provide suggestions), shipping to someone in the U.S. who will be visiting you soon, or shipping to a location in the U.S. where you or a friend will be staying. If we are unable to ship, we will notify you, cancel the order, and refund to the card upon which the order was charged.
Please be aware that shipping abroad may take up to 2 weeks or even longer depending on the route of transit and possible Customs delays in the destination country. Duties and taxes may be excessive and you are responsible to pay those charges, if any, to your government. If you are concerned about these matters, you should check with your government before you order.
Because there are many factors affecting export shipments that are out of Chocosphere's control, the following statement must be provided in the Comments section at checkout so we can process the order. If you do not provide the statement at order entry time, we will contact you and processing of the order will be delayed.
I accept responsibility if the package does not deliver (if correctly addressed by Chocosphere as shown on the order confirmation), if Customs takes the product or if it arrives damaged. I am responsible for any Customs duties or fees charged by my government. I also understand during the warm months that the products may arrive melted or out of temper, even if Warm Weather Packaging is used.
