Smooth chocolate flavor and delicate vanilla notes make Guittard Semisweet 46% Dark Chocolate Chips a versatile choice for everyday baking and confectionery. Made with 46% cacao from Trinitario and Forastero beans sourced in West Africa and South America, these American-made chocolate chips offer a balanced semisweet profile that brings satisfying chocolate character to a wide range of recipes. Guittard’s chocolate-making tradition dates to 1868, when founder Etienne Guittard established the family company in San Francisco, drawing on his French heritage and passion for fine chocolate.

With low fluidity, these chips are particularly useful in recipes where a thicker melted consistency is preferred. Fold them into cookies and baked goods, or use them in mousse, ganache, frosting, drinks, ice cream, and sorbet. Their approachable sweetness and subtle vanilla finish make them an easy fit for both home kitchens and professional pastry applications. Packaged in a convenient 255g bag, they are free from 14 major allergens and sensitizers, including peanuts, tree nuts, and gluten.
