Shipping Overview
To ensure your chocolate arrives in the best possible condition, we ship via FedEx, UPS, and the U.S. Postal Service. We may substitute a comparable carrier at no extra cost if needed.
Warm-weather packaging is added when necessary or upon request. We recommend choosing a shipping address where someone will be available to receive the package—unattended chocolate can be damaged by heat, cold, or moisture.

Shipping Days
In cool weather, we ship on:
- Monday–Friday: All shipments
In hot weather, to avoid weekend delays, we ship on:
- Monday–Wednesday: All standard shipments
- Thursday: Overnight only (weather-permitting)
- Friday: Saturday Delivery only (extra charge may apply)
During hot weather, we may delay shipments to protect the chocolate. Orders are generally processed the next business day. For same-day shipping, please call customer service at 503-692-3323 x0 (Mon–Fri, 9AM–4PM PT).
Warm Weather Packaging
To safeguard your order in warm climates, we may include insulated packaging (Styrofoam or insulated foil with gel ice packs) at no extra charge when needed. If you'd like this packaging added unconditionally, you may manually add the “Warm Weather Packaging” product to your cart for a $7.00 fee.
This option is:
- Included at our discretion if weather requires it
- Strongly advised in warm temperatures
Delivery Expectations by Carrier
FedEx & UPS
- Overnight and 2-Day: Monday–Friday
- Ground: Mon–Fri (to businesses); Tue–Sat (to most homes)
- Saturday Delivery available to select ZIPs (ask us or the carrier)
USPS
- Priority Mail: Monday–Saturday (residential)
- Economical for AK, HI, PR, GU, & APO/FPO/DPO addresses
Online Shipping Special
Our most cost-effective option! If selected:
- We choose the best available carrier (FedEx, UPS, or USPS)
- Transit time is 1–5 business days depending on distance and weather
- Transit times may be longer for Alaska and remote regions.
- Orders may be shipped without master boxes
- Meltable items may be delayed if temperatures exceed 80°F
- Some heavy or bulky orders may not qualify
- Warm-weather packaging added at our discretion, or add manually for $7.00
If you prefer or want to avoid a specific carrier, please leave a note in the Order special instructions of your cart. We’ll do our best to accommodate you, though it may delay processing.
Packaging Notes
To minimize shipping cost:
- We may remove products from outer master boxes
- All inner product wrapping will remain intact
- You may request full master boxes in your cart’s Order Instructions.
We aim to use the smallest shipping container possible. If chocolate arrives broken but the wrapper is intact, we consider that acceptable. You’ll need to break it to enjoy it anyway!
Local Pickup (Tualatin, Oregon)
- Select Pick up at checkout
- Place orders at least 1 business day in advance
- We’ll notify you when ready
- Pickup hours: Mon–Fri, 9AM–4PM PT
- Address: E-mailed upon order completion
Shipping to APO/FPO/DPO Addresses
We ship to military/diplomatic addresses via USPS Priority Mail. Please:
- Let us know (if possible) the destination city and country
- Choose heat-resistant items (e.g., dark chocolate, cocoa powder)
Please note: We can’t be responsible for heat damage.
International Shipping
We currently ship:
- To Canada
- To other countries only with pre-approval
Please email us for pre-approval for orders outside the USA and Canada.
International customers must include this statement in the checkout comments:
“I accept responsibility if the package does not deliver (if correctly addressed), if Customs takes the product, or if it arrives damaged. I am responsible for any duties or fees. I understand that warm-weather packaging may not prevent melting.”
Shipping charges will be quoted separately and must be approved before shipment.
