    Situated in the Bahia region in Brazil, the Riachuelo Plantation benefits from a lush environment, n the heart of the Atlantic Forest close to the ocean. The cocoa trees are cultivated with respect for the surrounding fauna and flora, composed of numerous exotic trees such as the Massaranduba or the Pau d’Arco.

    A creamy, tender texture, with sweet notes of milk, cream and caramel, mingling with notes of red fruits and cocoa, with a spicy and fresh lingering flavor. 51% cacao, net wt. 70g / 2.46oz.

    The Domori Land Costa d'Avorio (Ivory Coast) Organic dark chocolate bar has a strong cocoa note, along with coconut, hazelnut, bread crust and spices. The cocoa selected by Domori in the Ivory Coast comes from an area between the villages of Toumodi, Oulaidon, Taabo and Lilebe near the coast.

    The cacao is certified organic by the Scay Cooperative, chaired by Estelle Konan. BIO certified plantations require hand harvesting, natural fertilization with organic plantation residues and parasite prevention with natural oils (mainly Neem).

    The cooperative checks that these conditions are met by all the farmers who contribute their cacao harvest, supporting them with specific training courses.
