Madécasse, pronounced mah - DAY - cas, chocolate is made from the top 1% of the worlds cocoa. Madagascar cocoa is noted for its smoothness and red fruit flavors of cherry, raspberry and cranberry. These flavors come alive in Madécasse chocolate.

In addition to its wonderful flavor, Madécasse has a very rich social story. The company is inspired by the founder's Peace Corps experiences in Madagascar. Madécasse works directly with cocoa farmers to help them access the training and equipment they need to get more value from their crops. Moreover, the chocolate is actually made in Madagascar. Making chocolate at the source keeps ingredients fresh and generates 4x more income than Fair Trade. It's one of the only chocolates made in all of Africa.
