Vintage Plantations was born of the desire to make the finest chocolate while improving the farmers'
lives and the quality of cacao they produce.
Founder Pierrick Chouard
shared more than a decade of his personal knowledge and experience,
teaching farmers proper growing and fermentation techniques.
He buys their superior quality beans at fair prices
and then applies his experience to make
Vintage Plantations chocolate.
At one point Pierrick was making the chocolate in the country of harvest (Ecuador).
Now he is making the chocolate personally,
in his own New Jersey facility,
producing Vintage Plantations
chocolate that is truly artisinally made for your enjoyment.
Because of this transition, the chocolate you receive may be labeled as made in Ecuador
or USA.
