Villars Swiss chocolate began in 1901,
when a prominent Chocolate Master settled on the
outskirts of Fribourg –
close to the region of Gruyère.
The Gruyère region is renowned as one of the most famous milk producing
regions in Switzerland.
Even today, Villars relies on the best Swiss based produced ingredients,
making them a part of a small group that meticulously
respects the great Swiss chocolate tradition.
